DIY RECIPES WITH ESSENTIAL OILS FROM THE PSK
So many of the personal care and cleaning products that are sold in stores are full of toxic chemicals. Making your own non-toxic versions of cleaners and personal care products is very easy and economical. Here are a few easy DIY recipes using the oils that come with the Premium Starter Kit.
Eye Makeup Remover with Lavender
SUPPLIES
4 oz. container
2 tbsp jojoba oil
2 tbsp witch hazel
2 tbsp distilled water
2 drops Lavender essential oil
DIRECTIONS
Combine ingredients. Shake.
Non-Toxic Hand Purifing Gel with Thieves
SUPPLIES
small squeeze bottle
pure aloe gel
1/4 tsp Vitamin E oil
6 drops Thieves essential oil
distilled water
DIRECTIONS
Fill bottle 2/3 of the way with aloe. Add Vitamin E oil and Thieves. Shake. Add a little distilled water to make the consistency you like.
Face Serum with Lavender and Frankincense
SUPPLIES
Jojoba oil
2 drops Lavender essential oil
2 drops Frankincense essential oil
DIRECTIONS
Add Lavender and Frankincense to small dropper bottle. Fill container with jojoba oil and roll bottle in hands to mix. Apply one to two drops to support your skin.
Peppermint Sugar Scrub
SUPPLIES
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup Grapeseed oil
10 drops essential oil
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients. Mix well.
TO USE
Place small amount in palm of hand and massage over desired area. Rinse well.
Thieves Spray
SUPPLIES
Spray Bottle
Small pinch of Salt
5-10 drops Thieves Essential Oil Blend
DIRECTIONS
Add a pinch of salt to the bottom of the spray bottle. Drop Thieves essential oil blend onto the salt. Fill with water and shake well. Can be used to spray on doorknobs, handles and hands on the go.
Air Freshener with Purification
SUPPLIES
pinch of salt
5 drops Purification essential oil blend
splash of witch hazel (optional)
distilled water
DIRECTIONS
Put pinch of salt in container and add 5 drops of Purification. Add splash of witch hazel and fill rest of 4 oz. container with distilled water. Shake.
Stress Away Bath Salts
SUPPLIES
1 cup Epsom salts
10 drops Stress Away essential oil blend
DIRECTIONS
Combine ingredients. Mix well.
TO USE
Add 1/2 cup bath salts to a tub of water and enjoy!
Substitue in your favorite essential oil. Lavender is also very relaxing, PanAway is great for after a workout.
Foaming Hand Soap with Thieves
SUPPLIES
Castille Soap
5 drops Thieves essential oil blend
distilled water
DIRECTIONS
Fill 1/4 of container with Castille soap. Add 5 drops Thieves essential oil blend. Fill rest of container with distilled water, leaving room for foamer pump.
