Once you are comfortable using the oils that come with the Premium Starter Kit, you may wish to try some other essential oil singles and blends. Here are some additional DIY recipes that you can make with essential oils that are outside of the starter kit.
Immune Boosting Foot Rub
SUPPLIES
10-mL roll on bottle
15 drops Thieves essential oil blend
15 drops Oregano essential oil
grapeseed oil
DIRECTIONS
Add Thieves and Oregano to bottle. Fill rest of bottle with grapeseed oil. Add top and roll bottle in hands to mix. Apply to bottom of feet to support a healthy immune system.
Bedtime Roll-On
SUPPLIES
10-mL roll on bottle
10 drops Lavender essential oil
10 drops Cedarwood essential oil
grapeseed oil
DIRECTIONS
Add Lavender and Cedarwood to bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with grapeseed oil. Add top and roll bottle in hands to mix. Apply to bottom of feet at bedtime to promote relaxation.
Pumpkin Pie Sugar Scrub
SUPPLIES
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 drop Cinnamon essential oil
1 drop Clove essential oil
1 drop Ginger essential oil
1 drop Nutmeg essential oil
1/4 cup grapeseed oil
1 Tbsp. honey
DIRECTIONS
Combine sugars in a mixing bowl. Mix oils and honey together in a separate container. Combine liquid mixture with sugars in mixing bowl and stir until it reaches desired texture, adding more oil or sugar if necessary.
Holiday Air Freshener
SUPPLIES
pinch of salt
5 drops Christmas Spirit essential oil blend
splash of witch hazel (optional)
distilled water
DIRECTIONS
Put pinch of salt in container and add 5 drops of Christmas Spirit. Add splash of witch hazel and fill rest of 4 oz. container with distilled water. Shake.
Foaming Hand Soap with Thieves and Orange
SUPPLIES
Castille Soap
5 drops Thieves essential oil blend
5 drops Orange essential oil
distilled water
DIRECTIONS
Fill 1/4 of container with Castille soap. Add 5 drops Thieves essential oil blend and 5 drops Orange essential oil. Fill rest of container with distilled water, leaving room for foamer pump.
